Rosters
- During the regular season a team's roster cannot exceed 21 players.
- A team may release a player at any time during the season. Acquiring
players during the season can be done by entering the Free Agent Board area
of the kds-tech.com web site. (specifics of free agent board will be
discussed on draft day) Off season player acquisitions can only be
done during the free-agent/rookie draft to be held the August before the
season.
- After the trading deadline all rosters are frozen until the end of the
season. (The trading deadline will be discussed on draft day)
- Line-ups are due by noon on Sunday of each week. If you wish to
start a player that plays on a Saturday game or Thanksgiving Thursday, you
need to submit your lineup before the start of that game.
- If you fail to turn in a lineup in any week, the prior weeks lineup will
be used.
- A player's position will be designated by the position thy played the
majority of plays the previous season.
- A team consists of the following:
- 21 offensive players
- Two (2) team defenses
- at least three (3) Quarterbacks
- at least four (4) Wide Receivers
- at least four (4) Running Backs
- at least two (2) Tight Ends
- at least two (2) Kickers
The Opening Draft
- The Opening Draft will consist of 23 rounds.
- Order of the draft will be determined randomly and with witnesses as soon
as all 12 owners are identified (likely the weekend of July 21).
- The draft order works in snake fashion, meaning whoever picks first in
round one, will pick last in round two, and then first in round three.
For example, whoever has the first pick in the draft also has picks 24, 25,
48, 49, 72, etc.
- Trading current draft positions before and during the draft is permitted.
Trading future draft positions is permissible. Additional rules will
be discussed on draft day to prevent owners from trading future franchise
picks even if that owner leaves the league.
Supplemental and Rookie Draft
- Supplemental drafts will be held every August (revised 4/01...draft is
July 21, 2001) so that rookies and other unsigned players can find their way
onto a roster.
- Supplemental and rookie draft order will be determined in lottery format.
The lottery will consist of all teams failing to qualify for the playoffs.
The lottery will be weighted accordingly: (revised 4/01) The Lottery will
follow form to that of the NBA lottery. For example, the team with the worst
record will inherit the fate of the worst NBA record and so on.
- This draft is not in snake order. (rev 4/01) The lottery only
affects picks 1-8. The rest of the draft follows reverse order in each
round.
- (new item 4/01) The supplemental draft consists of 6 rounds.
Regular Season & The Playoffs
- The regular season consists of the first 14 weeks of the NFL season.
- Each week you must submit a lineup online that consists of one (1)

man (either a WR or RB), one (1) Tight End, one (1) Kicker
- Teams play head-to-head based on a schedule generated by the stat service.
- Weekly prizes are awarded to the team with the highest single team score.
- Playoffs are to be held on week 15, with the week 15 winners meeting in

Rules are like traffic signals...they are really just a suggestion.
Anything not explicitly laid out in the rules is subject to review by the commissioner
and will be put to league vote is necessary. Being a dynasty league, prior
cases take precedent.
